The best chestnut ever! Thank you so much! I’m really a chestnut lover, but since I move here I can’t find them in the local store. Even if sometime I found some, they are really bad product. I’m so happy I found this product online! They are really really great! Worth the money and give me A great day! Thank you!

I’ve been ordering these chesnuts for a few years now and have never been disappointed. Always good quality. I won’t buy from anywhere else.

We always enjoy the chestnuts we purchase each year. They are sweet and a tradition that we look forward to at our home.

I just received my second order for this year on Dec. 5 (after finishing the 5# I purchased in October). The second order is also of excellent quality. I am so happy to have found Chestnut Ridge after years of frustration and disappointment with trying to purchase chestnuts in local stores. Here is another way to cook them for a quick snack. Use a shallow microwavable dish with a lid (e.g. corningware). Put in enough water to just cover the bottom (1/4 inch deep or less). Cut chestnuts completely in half (sharp long kitchen knife best). Place chestnut halves cut side down in dish (single layer deep). Put lid on dish and microwave for about 2 -3 minutes (until water is boiling and steam coming out of dish). Take chestnuts out of the dish a few at a time (to avoid having them dry out) and eat when cool enough. The shell will just pop off many of the halves as they cook. For the rest, you can just squeeze the shell and the nuts are easily removed. This is a modification of a technique introduced by Badgersett Farms in MN.
